Thinking the Raptor would be a good trail bike.Also whats the cheapest price on a new one?

 

Raptors pretty much the best trail bike out there... I *THINK* Raptors are 6400 OTD... Am I right or wrong guys?

The raptor is probably the worst trail bike out there. Look at the 400ex or the predator or the z400 before even considering a raptor.

Go with the Raptor. It is by far the best trail quad out there. It also has an obscene amount of aftermarket parts available if customizing is your thing, the sky is the limit.

ya i agree... if i were to buy just a trail quad it would be the raptor.. what else is better in the trails? maybe a z-400..
raptors are cheap up here.. 5899 i think.. a 450 will run you about 6299.. plus taxes and all that ****.

 

I chose a raptor over a z400 and I'm glad I did. There is a place in TN. that has raptors 5499 O.T.D. I had to call them to confirm that price was right. Abernathy Cycle Center

The raptor is a top heavy tub that without replacing the suspension is a horrible trail bike. A honda 400ex will smoke a raptor stock bike for stock on the trails without question and anyone who doesn't believe that has never ridden both bikes.

i owned both and ride with 2 400ex's, predator, three wheelers, warrior, and my wife and my raptors.
the raptor is a great trail bike reverse is a major plus not dissin the ex cuz i loved mine but i am glad i upgraded to a raptor keyword upgraded.
while you do notice the ride height u get used to it in the first 2 hours of riding. and when u get stuck it is funny to watch them get off and manually turn it around i just laugh and pass them in reverse
