Last weekend 2 of my brothers bought new bigbears ,so we got them to go riding with us on our very hilly land in southern ohio.It turned out to be a lot of winching big bears up the hills because of the 3wd system on them.Is this the case with all yamahas?Keep in mind we got 3 inches of rain last weekend .

you can take your polaris and shove it strait up your a** and your full of bull sH** because the bombarder traxter has true 4wd and the suzuki quad runner has a locking front diff so sucky polaris isent the only people to have a locking diff.

Funny, the last ride I went on, all three Polaris riders would slow way down or jam between trees. The Kodiak being narrower would either zip right through or many times I would simply make a new line around them.I do like the Polaris, I even had a 425. But the Kodiak is more nimble in the tight stuff.

Yes you are correct all Yamaha's suck. They should give them piles of junk to some needy family and go buy a real quad. Them darn Yamaha's are only good for roadblocks and dry Golf courses. Why dont you send them down to the local Polaris dealer and have them buy a couple of those super reliable sportsmans. I hear polaris has got a special summer deal on now. For 6799 you get a sportsman 500 with "extra set of brakes, 2 sets of tierod ends, a belt, and a fully stocked tool kit. What a deal i got 3 to get me through the weekend (1 to ride 2 for parts)

if you think yamaha's suck then why do you own a kodiak and a grizzly and if you think they all suck then why is your name yama.

Don't let the Polaris guys fool you. The "true" 4wd has its shortcomings also.
Would you like to descend or climb a steep hill waiting or hoping the wheels will spin enough to engage the 4wd? This can make for a very nerveous moment. I don't know how its true 4wd because you never know if its engaged or not. The only true 4wd is to put a locker on the front end. I think Suzuki has something close.
I guess its ok if you are a thrill seeker. Me I like knowing that I am in 4wd & don't have to guess.
