Lowering the Raptor
I would like to lower my Raptor about 2-3 inches. I ride a very wide variety of terrain, tight trails to dunes, and I would like it to handle better. Has anybody used the no pre-load shocks? Can they be used with stock or stock width a-arms? I want new performance shocks anyway, but widening the quad by more than an inch on each side is out of the question. Who has a good all-around set up?

Well theres lotsa ways to lower the quad its just how much money you wunna spend, but for what ur doing id get some new shocks, they will lower your quad and inch or two, smaller tires will lower it also. for the back theres also a lowering strut that wont keep your from jumping like some lowering kits do.

yeah, a kit like mine keeps you from jumping...but to lower the front and rear it only cost me 55 dollars.

not a bad lowering kit....the handling was 100% better.

If I turn the rear link upside down, does this bind the linkage while jumping? As far as shocks go, I don't want worse suspension! LOL So blaster shocks are out of the question. What if I bought works steelers for a banshee? Will this lower me without sacrificing travel? Or should I just save for a nice set of zero-preloads? Oh, what to do?
