Hi i live in New Jersey are there any good places i can go ridin at? i am looking for sand dunes somwhere but i dont know where. Any info would be useful. Thanks -matt-

 

i am in the same crappy situation you are raptorboy4life. there is raceway park in nj-www.racewaypark.com, there closed because the riding seaon is over, its all tracks but its fun, there is jack frost p.a which isnt too far -jfbb.com... depending on were you live, i also go up to aty new york once in a while atvny. com. there is some riding parks in south jerseyby the pin barrons i plan to go, which is all sand and what not. it is really hard to find places to ride without gettin into trouble, there used to be a place off of 287, by the sharp build, and sheriton hotel, but it was closed because some idiot got hurt there and sewed sharp(ruined it for everybody), so now no ones alowed to ride there.i will p/m you when i find any place in south jersey. where in jersey do you live? i live in the north east so its easier for me to go to p.a + n.y.

Yea its hard to find a close place. my family has a golf course that i could ride at but it tares up the grass. i live in monmouth county where do you live. I know how if somone gets hurt they could sue and thats not right. Theres an aboned air strip near my house when somone got hurt the cops cought all of us and we got our quads taken away. we had to pay 500 bucks to get it back. i am interested to find out more

 

I live in MD, but I was working in NJ last week and stopped at a local yamaha dealer in deptford, and bought a few things and asked about places to ride in NJ. I only remember one place, which was Chatsworth.... I think they said it had a web site, just never looked it up cause it is too far away for me.... there is another place called Blue Daimond in DE, that might be close to you, they do have a website.

 

i live in wayne, rite next to paterson(passaic county)...... i dont think monmouth is too far from hear.

Pyronics in Warren County is good

 

There is now a zero tolerance law in New Jersey, so if you get cought riding anywhere that's non sanctioned like Chatsworth or Englishtown etc etc, you can get up to a 3,000 dollar fine, and have to pay fees to un-impound your ATV. If you are riding in an area like Manchester, you can get another 8,000 dollar fine tagged on, for breaking various environmental laws. The area is a wildlife preseve apparently.
The only two places I know of to ride are in Chatsworth which is south Jersey, and Englishtown, which is more central.

 

How did you find out about those fines? The cop cought me the other day but the guy i was with knew him so we didn't get cought. Were in english town NJ is there a track?

 

THe english town Nj trak is in race way park by the drag strip.

 

i think i remember reading about them in one of theses forums, its very possibly thats its true, my freind got caught riding down by me and he got 6,000$ woth of fines + and his dads a cop for passaic county....didnt even make a difference. raptorboy4life check out the website to find out exactly were it is, www.racewaypark.com, also check out njorvp.org. thats a riding spot down in south jersey.
