Default warrior trouble

my friend has a 99 warrior and he just got a cobra exhaust pipe and now everytime he starts it up and revs a little it make a loud click and then it stalls. It sounds like it is coming from the carb but he doesn't know if the jetting was done on it. thanx for then help.

Prolly the parking brake, that makes it backfire. Its more of a pop than a click though. Make sure the parking brake is all the way off.

Default warrior trouble

My friend has a 1990 Warrior that did that everytime he rode it. I tried to turn the idle screw down but then it would do what you described. It would pop and then it would idle perfect and then it would do it again and stall and he turned the idle up becuz his electric start doesn't work and his pull starter is ripped out. And it is comming from the carb and it is jetted lean. My friends was doing this becuz the carb boot going into the head was cracked. I could see it when it was dark out and it popped i could see the flame shoot back through the carb so tell him to check for cracks in the carb boot and check the plug after you fix the carb boot.
