I don't know about the rest of you Raptor owners, but I'm getting plenty sick and tired of hearing ignorant jerks like this say they are the biggest piece of cr@p ever made. I seldom hear any real justification of thier assumptions so that leds me to believe that perhaps they are acting out thier fear in an agressive manner. The key word is almost. My stock 400 can almost keep up with the 660. Yeah and my neon can almost keep up with a z-28..

 

Almost could mean 5 feet or 5 miles depending on how you look at it.

I went out to a gravel pit with my Raptor last summer. Rappy was only about 2 weeks old. Still shiny as all getout
And this dude on a older Warrior told me my Raptor was crap. it had rotten suspension was rotten for jumping and the frames fall apart.

I had a hard time not falling off my quad laughing.

I like the warrior I’m not dissing it. This dude was just a moron.

Whenever someone has something that is better than what that person has in order for them to feel better about themselves they for some reason feel the need to bash the other persons item. Its just jealousy and envy. I don't worry about it. If they want to make themselves look like idiots.....let em'. They show thier intelligence and maturity in their comments...... I truly have a stock 660, and can HONESTLY say that a 400ex(with an aftermarket pipe) can't even hold a candle to a bone stock raptor. I also raced a 416ex and he won by half a quad length at the end. Now it could have been rider error(I don't know), but that has been the encounters I've had so far. No ego based results, no jealous angry opinions. If someone beats me I'll be the first to pat you on the back. My self confidence is so that I don't have to insult people and their property to feel better about myself. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

How come everyone calls them craptors. Everyone feels the need to match their quad against Raptors to legitamize their claim that their quad is now "fast"?

Man, I call my own bike a Craptor![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img] They will all give us fits every now and then. But there isn't another bike that would fit my needs. If there was and it was as good as a CRAPTOR or better I would buy one of those. So if your ignorant enough to bash on a quad that is bigger in cc's than your own you deserve to get beat in a race. If your faster than a bike with more cc's than you more power to ya!

wow these post are getting old...more power this and torque that....

how many of you drag race every day all day? I bought my quad for trails and occational mx tracks...where top speed is not important.

Any of you can bring your big bore screamers up to my farm and we can hit the trails right from my backyard....I will ride a blaster....I bet none of you get out of my sight.

Why is it that everyone is so concerned with top speed...when most don't know how to ride at slow speeds
