Default Stroker Kit

Can someone explain what exactly a stroker kit is and how it works?

Default Stroker Kit

A stroker kit changes the stroke of the piston/crankshaft. By increasing the stroke (down travel of the piston) you are allowing a higher volume of air/fuel to enter the cumbustion chamber. Visualize this: Your top dead center will stay the same in relation to the cylinder head but on the down stroke your piston will go a few mm's lower in the cylinder than stock.

They have to machine the crank and move the location of the connecting rod journal. Depending on the engine and how much of an icrease in stroke you want the engine cases may also need some altering. Falicon is one of the more popular and reputable crankshaft companies out there.
