Blaster help
#1
Im hearing alot of different stories about the best filter for the yamaha blaster. my local dealer is saying never to put a K&N on a 2-storke, How does that make sense?? Whats the best thing to do? should i go all out and put in a new air box, or just drill holes in the lid or go with the K&N?? any help would be greatly appreacited.

i think k&n is the best. if you run sand dunes you can run the set up where you have the k&n right of the back of the carb for maximum air intakes. make sure to put an outerware over the filter to longen its life. a lot of shee's run the same set up if you've ever seen it! good luck!

K&N is more expensive its a better than the foam filters out there. If its bad on a 2 stroke why do they make them! Anyway if you want performance go for the K and N but there is a couple of pretty good foam filters out there. Make sure you maintain them by using filter cleaner and you will get your money's worth out of them HONDA SUCKS! There old, and the smell!
