If i went with 26" would there be a power lose? Also, he said the book showed to get the same size for the back as you do the front. Does that sound right? Thanks.
definetly go with the 26" You will get the larger tread. 25's have the shorter tread

check ebay. I got my tires for under 300 shipped. I think you can get a full set w/ C-series for around 580 or so.

where is your friend located? What did they come off of? Are they black C-series?

How will the 26" affect the power? lowend , mid and high?

You might lose a minute amount of top speed but the power loss would essentially be negligible. You will however get noticeably more “bite” in soft terrain, and they give you about 1/2" more ground clearance. It does raise your center of gravity slightly, but by going to C-Series wheels you will more than offset that effect by making your track wider. There is not a lot of difference between 25” and 26” except the tread lugs on the tire are bigger / longer. If one of the reasons that you chose the Grizzly was to tackle rugged terrain, then you are better off with the 26” tires in my opinion. They are still great for overall trail riding use. However I wouldn’t go larger than that for anything but serious mudding or general farm use…

I don't do any MAJOR mudding. I was honestly just thinking of doing this for the c-series stance to help with stability on trails. But i don't want to lose any power. Maybe i should just go with wheel spacers? Thanks for the help guys.

I agree with 2tv. If you don't do alot of mudding, you should be fine with the 25" tires.

You may also want to look at Kenda Bear Claws. They are a great all around tire

So do ya'll think it would be better to go with a wheel and tire kit or just a set of wheel spacers?

Spacers would be a lot cheaper but the wheels would make it wider (than going with 1” spacers) plus if you go with a different tire as well (such as a 26” version) then you could have two different setups, allowing you to tailor your quad to different riding conditions just by swapping wheels…
