im looking into getting a banshee but i want the 3 cil. where would you get the engine for that mod? is it off another bike or specialty items? if so which bike or racing company?

you need a different engine out of a triple cylinder snowmobile.

 

You can call Twister Crankshafts, A&S Racing, or Trick Racing.

Trick has built a 4 cylinder using stock Banshee cylinders. A&S has a 3 cylinder Banshee with Cheetah cylinders. If you've got the money, they can build it. Last I knew, a triple cylinder Banshee motor built by Twister was around $10,000. At least that was what they said in the mags.

I also saw in the mags, that Twister had a 3 cylinder utilizing the stock Banshee cylinders with a 10 mm stroker crank. And he had a stock stroke 3 cylinder using the stock Banshee cylinders that had a turbo on it.

They're trouble enough keeping two cylinders running right. Why add a third?

 

The 3 cylinder banshee motor has not yet been prefected. Still needs alot of adjustments, but im sure in the near future it will be real fast.

Yeah, there is a 3 cylinder banshee that comes out to the track sometimes, but I'm not impressed with it at all. Spend the money on a good T-Rex motor, or if you have it a crankenstein. Stay away from the banshee tripples until they are perfected.
