I used to have a mom and pop snowmobile/atv shop nearby. Years of seeing Polaris parts scattered everywhere and seldom a Yamaha in sight kinda told me their not much on longevity. I also witnessed alot of barn and shed fires that were acredited to faulty wiring on Polaris atv's. You want to guess how this mom and pop shop burned down?

 

I love my yamaha, my friend loves his polaris, they both go where we take them. But if I had to start over I'd probably go with the suzuki eiger 400 4X4 5-speed or auto just to get off the beaten path.

 

get the polaris. i have one and it kicks the s*** out of my friends yamaha kodiak 400. also i heard that on the kodiak the plastic chips really easy and the tail light is a piece too.
