raptor backfires when its engaged in reverse
That's what I thought. I was thinking of doing it to my raptor but I didn't want to grenade the motor. I can't even back mine out of the garage without it stalling. I'm also getting too old/lazy (34 HAHA) to be getting off on the trail and lift the front or rear end up and spin the bike around. And I think I have enough sence to not try to race in reverse, so I don't think the bodily harm part will be an issue.
Thanks

I've had my reverse rev limiter by-passed for about 90 engine hours now. I'm not forgiving on the throttle when I back up in the timber and nothing has grenaded. Basically I rev, dump clutch and flail the tires. I suppose a 270lb guy shouldn't do that to a tranny. Ground out the white wire with the green stripe going to the CDI and presto, no reverse limiter.
