this is NOT to start a fight, but which quad has a higher top speed, which would be faster in a drag race, which is just plain faster, a stock warrior or a blaster with an aftermarket pipe and silence?? please no fighting!!

The Warrior is Faster by about two miles an hour according to DirtWheels Magazines most recent shootout. 56 Warrior 54 Blaster. Through my own personal experience I find the Blaster to be faster and truly love the two stroke punch. As for Bottom end (take off) the blaster can get the jump on both the Warrior and 300EX and if the rider is good, can usually stay ahead. I would say both bikes are good choices. The Warrior has reverse, electric start and better brakes. The Blaster is lighter, two stroke and fun to ride. I would say whichever one you choose enjoy it and be safe.

now i can act like a true honda owner.....WARRIORS AND BLASTER SUCK!! ONLY THE 300EX IS WORTH EVEN RIDING! IF IT ISN'T A HONDA IT ISN'T ANYTHING!

of course you all should know i am just joking. But need to get used to my arrogant honda attitude!

But now on to your question.

In a flat out drag, the Blaster will get the holeshot, then the warrior will pass after awhile.

A modded blaster(with a light rider 100-150) can easily beat a stock warrior.

If you are thinking about either, i'd say get the warrior. 4-stroke, Reverse, hydro brakes, electric start, BIGGER, more comfortable ride, and better handling.

I'm not trying to give the blaster a bad image, It is an awesome trail machine, and a good MX racer, But it lacks reverse electric start, Good brakes, smooth ride, and good handling(it's no bad, but lots of bumpsteer, Bicycles easily in turns..with stock balloon tires)

My Warrior was stone stock and never lost to a Blaster . I would take them from start to finish.

I own a '94 Warrior and I ride with a guy who owns a '94 Blaster. My Warrior has a K&N Filtercharger, DynoJet kit, Supertrapp Pipe, and other minor mods. I run stock 13/40 gearing. The Blaster has a jet kit, filter, and FMF Fatty Pipe with Power Core II silencer. I weigh 155 lbs. and the Blaster rider weighs about 145 lbs. If we race in a straight out drag (about 1 km.)dirt fire road, all flat) it is quite close. Off the line the Blaster is a tad bit quicker. However, by the time I reach second gear we are about even. The Blaster winds out its gears much quicker than my Warrior. When I hit sixth gear I pull about a bike length ahead and that is where we remain to the finish. My Warrior tops out at about 62 mph and the Blaster tops at around 59 mph. When the two machines are stock it is pretty even. However, if you are deciding on buying one of these machines I would not go by speed alone. If I race the Blaster in wooded trails it is a no contest. The suspension and brakes on the Warrior are far superior in every category. The longer wheelbase also offers a much more controlled ride through the bumps. When jumping the two are equally balanced. The Warrior has a nicer landing but the Blaster is easier to throw around in the air if you should get out of control. For wheelies, the Blaster is the undisputed king. For low end power the Warrior is awesome, (best low end of any sport quad in my opinion.) Other small notes, the Warrior gets better fuel economy and has a much better range between fill-ups. The Warrior requires less maintenance (something always is bothering the Blaster, fouling plugs, cheapo brakes etc.) I am 5'11" and I find the Blaster way too cramped. The Warrior is big and comfortable with lots of room to move around on. In conclusion, if you want a light, snappy machine that is great value for your money, go with the Blaster. If you want the best all round machine, spend the extra money and go with the Warrior. You probably won't be disappointed with either machine. Good Luck.
