I have a 89 blaster, and I want to make it faster on the top end. It seems to rev out way to fast for me, and I want to be able to go a bit faster in 6th gear without loosing too much down low. Thanx for the help. I would like to know what sprockets I should put in to replace the factory ones. Thanx

The stock blsater i think is 13/40. Gears on a quad run much like a mountian bike. If your looking for speed then you will need a small on the front and a small on the back, but if your looking for bottom end torque then you will want to make the back one bigger.
It is highly recommended that you change all your sprockets and the chain all at the same time because if you put on a new chain on old sprockets, or vice versa, you will ruin what you just put on in about a day. i would reccomend that you change all 3 at a time, it saves alot of time and money.
Both the sprockets on the blaster are really easy to change. All you gotta do is remove a few bolts and your pretty much ready to slide on the new one.
