I was doing great on the sand and water until I sank in a water hole. I and my bike were completely under water. After I had help taking it out, It would not start. Well now it starts but it is not reving properly. I cleaned the airfilter but need help as to what else I need to do.

if it went totally under water it probably has water everywhere. Take a part the whole engine...and dry it out

i'd say, remove your whole engine..tear it completely down and clean everything.

If you got water in there, it's rusting as we speak!

That happened to me one day on my banshee.. up there at wolf pen gap.. Lucky for me my back tires had so much air, that it floated.. all I did was take my plugs out, kick it a few times until the water stopped coming out of the head, put the plugs back in, crank it and rev it up for like 5 minutes to blow the water out.. jumped back on it, and took off again

my friend did the almost the same thing on his 2000 blaster but he jumped it off in a pond all he did was take out the plug and took a air hose and blew it dry by sticking it in the hole where the plug goes, and then he justed changed the oil and it was fine and we still ride today.
