Default Wheelie Bar

Would a stock swingarm put to much pressure on a wheelie bar? I want to be able to haul down a drag strip but for regular riding I want a stock length swingarm. Also, anyone got plans to make one? I dont have any idea how long it should be and such.

It might depend on how much power your putting out/the way its mounted, but I don't think it would matter. The only # I have ever heard for the length of it is 110% as long as the wheel base, behind the axle. I know of a place that makes one for certain type swingarms, DS and Banshee stock arms for sure, but I don't know about anything else.

depends a lot on what motor/hp/tire you will be running. The harder you hit the wheelie bar the more you will unload the tire, causing loss of traction. Give some more detail

My friends and I put a wheelie bar on a honda 90. But, I guess that doesn't help you. It helped give me a broken wrist.

Just think mid-range ported banshee with 34mm carbs on pump gas. I have no idea how much that is suposed to be but it should be somewhere close.
