Twist Throttle Kit?
#3
I have a twist throttle on my blaster. I like it a lot better because I can wear mittens, but i guess that you don't need mittens in Florida. But another good thing is that your thumb doesn't fatigue. I say go for it, I have taken some hard landings, and I have no problems.

I got a question about twist throttles. I got one from motion pro when i had my DS. I didnt like the quality of the twist at all, it had a cheap feel, probably cuz it was just $35. I know motion pro makes better quality ones, anyone got a link to them?

I was looking at a Quad with a twist throtle. They make the thumb throttle so that when you are riding hills and trails and stuff you can shift from side to side and lean from side to side more, and just to have better overall movement and still be in controll of the throttle, and not have to let go if you are leaning to far to the left, it might be kinduv tricky to do all of that with a twist throttle. But i do not really know for sure because i just have the regular thumb throttle.

I have one in coming for the yfz. I am going to try it out, the reason why is I race two moto's and my thumb is killing me. I will be going to Florence next weekend and really try it out(through the natural whoops). From what I have been told is that you need to have it positioned right, too far back or too far forward is a bad thing.
Also there are two different types 1/4 and 1/2 turns. 1/4 is only good for dunes and that’s it. On those it’s all or nothing. The 1/2 turn is better for MX and XC. I am getting mine from Alba. I'll let you know if I decide to keep it or not.

i had one on my warrior, i took it off because i have better control of power while jumping. for me if i had a firm grip on throttle, sometimes i would give it too much gas. seemed alot of hillclimbs and jumps i was holding on tight with left hand and no so much with right. it does save your thumb though if you ride for long periods of time.
