No, it is not worth it. There are better and there are worse pipes out there. Buy it because you want it and like the looks. Not because you think it (sparks) makes the most power.

Basically everyone should buy what they want, and everyone should get to offer their opinion's on each product. Everyone is going to usually push what they have unless it has crapped out on them. But I am very happy with my Alba, as I'm sure most everyone is happy with their yoshi, sparks, and what not. But a 40% increase on a pipe and filter alone is alittle high I believe.

But the best place to prove your bike is when you race.

I did a couple of runs on the dyno. One of them was to see what HP my stock raptor makes. I did some major airbox and carb mods and it pushed out 44HP. The reason why most people, including myself, believe stock raptors makes 36HP is because almost every web site you visit shows rappys making about 36HP. The dirtwheels exhaust shootout also got 36HP for a stocker. The same goes for Yamaha’s web site. They also show about 36HP. In the end I got 49HP with the sparks and L&A adaptor. There is no airbox anymore on my raptor. All gone.

All I care about now is how much HP the bike is making. I don't care how much it had before. The sparks pipe and L&A adaptor works great. Once I have the jetting done correctly I hope to get 50 HP, maybe slightly more. The dyno I used was at my Yamaha dealer. They would not fiddle with the thing to help me get 49HP in the 1st place. I will also try and get my raptor on another dyno, to make sure the 49HP is correct. I personally believe it is.

It goes on the crank case breather. And yes, you should run one if you take your lid and snorkel off. It's the hose that plugs into your snorkel. My alba kit came with a filter for the breather.
