Dont know how to take it off, but make sure you dont use carb cleaner on the rubber parts of the carbs, that carb cleaner deforms the rubber!

They're just metal; don't be affraid of 'em.

Completely remove it from you machine and start taking the simple parts off - really. You'll learn about and understand them much better that way.

Carb cleaner does a good job.

It's also a great idea to have a maint manual handy. Exploded views can often times be very helpful.

Sometimes "bounce" other times "downy"...depends whats in the cubbard.

But to answer the real question...for the outside of the carb I use a hint of carb cleaner and a toothbrush....for the inside..carb cleaner also works...just not to heavy around any rubber or seals. (the cleaner can weaken it).
I pull the jets and soak them. Any tight areas can be cleaned with dental picks.

Thats about it...I try to stay away from compressed air.
