Default Helped a friend do a top end rebuild on a Banshee, got some problems..

That little hose has costed some people alot of gray hair with the grimlin like effects it can have so now I allways double check that little hose.

Default Helped a friend do a top end rebuild on a Banshee, got some problems..

It will still do it when the choke is off. Basically the fuel for the choke for both carbs comes from the left sides bowl. Is actually a fuel enrichment system. True "chokes" use a butterfly to shut off air. This system just lets the motor pull a LOT of fresh fuel. When the choke is pulled without this tube, the right side gets no fuel and the left side pulls air in instead of fuel so its makes it very hard to start. Even harder than if you don't pull the choke at all. With the choke pushed in, the left side will run fine, but the right side pulls air in through the spot where the tube goes and runs lean causing it to pop.

I can get a pic tonight if you need one. I don't know if there is a pic in the manual or not.
