Ridley, from some of your previous posts, you showed a lack of respect for dirtbikers.Come to find out you can't even "ride"or "race" a dirtbike, whatever you call it..Your the kind of guy us dirtbikers dislike.

Not tryin to be an a** here, but just because you can't "ride" a bike doesn't mean everyone that can ride is inferior.Riding a dirtbike must not be "that" easy because obviously you can't do it and your such an expert on the quad.

I'm sorry,I'm an old dirtbiker and only recently moved into quads.I bought a Banshee new in 01' and have logged about the same amount of hours on both dirtbike and quad.It was easy for me to adapt to the quad and I am willing to bet I would beat my best dirtbike times in the woods on my shee. Not to mention be able to walk upright the next morning.

It takes alot more to ride a bike hard than you'll ever know Ridley,You learn alot from dirtbikes.
If you don't know, then you can't knock it.

In all honesty,I think the quad would have the advantage, but thats because you can be so much more reckless on a quad as opposed to a bike.

Its very hard to be carefull, but its really easy to be reckles

Do you need me to come over and biitch slap ya one or what? When did I ever call dirtbikers "Inferior"? When griz first arrived on here, he rubbed me the wrong way as I did to him. Sure we threw some mud, but like you were even a part of it!!! Once we started chattin, we realized were pretty dang similar and I'd ride with him anyday. The bottom line is, Dirtbikes mess the tracks up for quads, and quads do the same to the dirtbikes. At the track, there will always be animosity there. To top that off, most the quad riders look so horrible on the track, that it even embarrasses me! Heck, if I raced bikes, I'd make fun of us too. Being a quad racer, I simply take offense to the shiz that gets spouted off at the tracks. Who doesn't get tired of being told how to ride by someone who never threw a leg over a "couch"? Most dirt bike riders never make it to a national level atv race so they can't appreciate what the fast riders can actually do, and it's all the more frustrating when you hear the shiit at the locals. The quad guys only have to flip on ESPN and we can watch the bikes. I raced a bike for awhile FYI. It was fun, but I missed the four wheel action. Quads are more fun for me, period. For some, it's the other way around. Need me to explain anything else or did you pull your head outta your hole? So till you get the ***** to actually hit the track with me, you can shut your piehole on what it takes to ride anything.

To the rest of the readers of this post, I apologize I had to become an @ss for a minute. Sometimes it just needs to be done, thick skulls or something
HAHA!! That was too good. Its the same for me, I raced dirtbikes, and the fact is I just like quads more. Most of the quad riders at the track dont know, theyll ride over the table top cause they dont know what a jump is and what is not, there pathetic, and it embarasses me when the bikers watch them ride. Hell, there was a kid on a blaster, when he watched me jump a table top, he asked, your suppostoo jump that thing?!?! Its pathetic, if half the bike guys saw what the real racers and and saw how fast they are and what they can do, a lot more people would take quads into consideration. Even though now here I rarely see a lot of bikes around, there are A LOT Of quads, people are just seeing that to them quads are "funner." To me, quads are funner to ride, in trails and sand, and funner to mod. Now dont be an a** about it, cause im only saying what "I" think.

I've learned over the years, that the people who talk the most trash are a dissapointment on the track and you talk alotta trash on the boards.Just like the comment grizz made irked you, your comment irked others including me.Now with my knowledge of your dirtbike inexperience its even more annoying.

If you started on quads,I would assume you to be no older than 20,which explains your immaturity and strongheaded personality. What do you want me to do, start namecalling and talking smack so I can bring myself down to your level. You seem to dish it out very well, but just can't take it.

I may be a 2 wheeled nobody and obviously your a 4 wheeled nobody,so it would be hard to tell who was beating who at the local tracks.Wouldn't you say?

You gave Grizz some crap and he backed down from you,too bad he's a wuss.

I'm in northern ohio,so I can get just about anywhere fast.I can scrounge up a 440ex or CR 250r for MX or My CR500 or Banshee for the woods.Just let me know where and when you practice this year.Just because I'm not a professional rider like yourself doesn't mean I can't race.

The question is..can you back it?

Wuss????? Backed down?????? Actually JOKE, Rid happens to be a freind to me on this forum and I've learned MANY MANY things by reading his posts!!! He would kill me in a race on quads and vice versa on the bikes!! ONE THING IS FOR SURE, WE'D BOTH BEAT YOU NO MATTER WHAT YOU BRING!!!!!!!!!!!! I have an idea, how about you get that CR500 and CR250 or ANY bike for that matter.........I'll will "only" ride my 285 and we shall see if you can back up this BS your talkin! Everything was fine until you had to go off on rid and then call me names!!! So before you open your DL about Rid take a look at yourself little man!!!

Rid, make sure I come up before you race this youngen, we will flip coins to see who embarrisses him first! What do you say?

Ridley, I would love to get over there again sometime, also to see my sister who lives in Washington DC.
Mate you could show me how to do those 80' jumps you do.
Josh on this on this current crap you are involved in, I say it is time to bail out.
Some battles are not worth winning.

Beans or Broken spokes would be fine,Telico your too far to put up so I suggest you shut up.Like I said, you guys are real good at running your mouths,we'll see if your riding skills can back it.

And what fun would a race be without a friendly wager,I was about to suggest it,but you beat me to it Rid.You guys can run your mouths from here to Christmas, but I don't want to here any excuses afterward. Even if you manage to post better times then me,I sure the hell ain't gonna kiss your butt and try to be your friend like ole Grizz.

I'll give you the choice,My 500 is a little ruff on an MX track, but like I said,I know of a race prepped CR 250r thats available to me and that would be my bet.Your only getting one choice,so choose wisely.I'm always here, you know where to find me.Oh yea bring your piggy bank, cause its gonna cost you.I'll race for fun,but when it comes to money,I'm not scarred to drop 500 on a race,Are you???

We need to put all the "I'm faster than you" BS aside.

Typically bikes are much lighter than quads, giving them better acceleration.
Most motocross style bikes have more suspension that your typical quad.
Bikes also only need to pick one narrow line.

Quads have the added traction and flotation of four wheels.
Their width also adds to the stability in many situations.

You can look at these features and guess in which situation bikes have an advantage and where quads will have the edge.

Sure Bikes rule in motocross, but how about unstudded ice racing?
