Me and the wife went last weekend to florence and after getting beat up all day from the rough conditions it will be next weekend before we are ready to go again.The sand was in the worst shape that i have ever seen and i have been doing this for over 25 years so it was a rough ride.I suppose that being 45 now and not able to recover as quickly might have something to do with it but even 20 years ago it would have tired me out.

 

For all you old farts,like me.Get that steering stabalizer, you won't believe how much it helps on the tore up sand. Good 4 dirt too!

 

hey what the old thing you guys in the older boat ride harder than most anyone i ride with.

 

wteceraserman-We recently put a steering stabilizer on the wifes 440 and i was surprised at how much it helped absorb the rough stuff and i will be putting them on my baja and raptor.SANDMAN-Yes i still ride pretty hard but sometimes when i get home i wonder why because i am pretty sore and stiff and even though i know i should take it easy that speed rush is hard to give up.I am starting to have considerable problems with arthritis in my hands and holding on is getting to be more difficult so i was thinking maybe i could(duct tape hands to the bars)-or (velcro on the bars and gloves) or (maybe super glue)?All joking aside i would never give up riding but at some point i guess i should slow down at least a little bit,but then again......
