Hey my friend has a 04 Blaster and when its been running for a while the oil light comes on even though its filled on oil. But I just got thinking is it a light to tell you its warmed up enough to ride it or is it a oil light ?

ok thanx but do you know why it comes on after 10 min of riding ? It stays on to. When we just filled up the oil tank. Is their a flaot in their or something that might be sticking ?

 

that happened to me before i thought the oil injection clogged but it just turned out to be a bad censor

 

Blasters don't have radiators so I assume the engine temp is gained through the engine oil, right? This light could be a low oil light and a temp light, does that sound logical? The bike could be getting hot.

 

it just let the rider know the oil tank is getting low on oil. no engine temp

mine has been on sence i bought it, its just the light inside is messed up.
