Default Rappy reverse rev-limiter?

i was riding the rap yesterday and i was going in reverse and i usually go pretty slow, but i was just havin fun and i went kinda fast but it sounded like i hit a rev limiter because it wouldnt rev any higher and it got all choppy. is there some kind of speed limiting device for the rappys reverse?

well that puts you in a minority. the reverse gear is too high on the raptor and the only way you can get decent power in reverse is to bypass the limiter. I have found myself in many situations where it came in handy. My cousin's 02 raptor doesnt have his bypassed, and he whines all of the time when I can back out of something and he has to get off and turn the bike around.

well its my dads bike and he only rides dunes with it, so there no tight trail situations he has to back out of, and the only time he does use reverse is when backing out of the garage or off the trailer.
