Hmmmm..................I think it is a done deal

I just have to get enough cash from the rap to buy a new 450!

I dont think that should be a problem.

Sod being sentimental......I will always have my Heuvos 5 DVD to remember my Rappy by

no offence but with all the suspension goodies you have on your raptor wouldnt it handle better than a 450 and it should go like one to
have you ridden a 450 yet?

If I was you, I would ride the 450, and everything else before you sell the Raptor. The ergonomics on the 450 will be quite different than the Raptor.

I liked everything about the Yfz better than my Raptor. Even the so called "hard" seat. It corners better, jumps better, and runs MUCH better. If I had the $7200 I'd have bought one myself!

Mick660r, yea the Rappy "may" handle better than the Yfz in the current state that mcfly has his, but as soon as you do the same mods to the yfz its head and shoulders above again. Sorry, just no contest.......

And Mcfly with the money you shelled out for the Rappy, I wouldn't think you'd have any problem spending under $100 for a taller seat foam for the Yfz. I personally think this is the ONLY negative thing about this quad. Have fun with your new quad, and bullet bike

I have ridden the YFZ, and true my current raptor setup will outhandle it. But thats what mods are for.
Half the fun is fine tuning the bike.

The ergonomics of the 450 is the whole reason I want it. It is way lighter, lower centre of gravity, and i am totally comfortable on it. The hard seat is not an issue, I hardly ever sit anyway. the only thing I will miss is reverse, but i will get over that. Also quicker reving is way more important to me for racing.
I just feel that the 450 is a way better building platform, afterall it is the modern 250R.
