theres a company around the net that makes these...you could google it.

It's basically the same airbox cover except a big square cut out, placed over with outerwear, and then a frame mounted on top screwed or glued on to hold the outerwear in place....pretty straight forward

Not sure on where to find a flat piece of outwear though. Maybe a normal air filter cover (outerwear) will work if it's cut...not sure

I dont know if you have stock filter or not, but remember on the stock filter the lid holds the filter down.

Leave the lid in place. Cut the snorkel or remove it and drill 2 x 2" holes at the back of the lid. The holes should not be above the filter. It flows about the same amount of air as no lid, plus it cost you nothing, you keep the stock filter and it has no problem with water. Water entering the holes, if any, will fall down and settle at the drain plug of the airbox.

I tested this setup against a no lid at all and it make 0.3HP difference than running without a lid.

Save your money and just cut the holes in the lid.Leave the lid in place. Cut the snorkel or remove it and drill 2 x 2" holes at the back of the lid. The holes should not be above the filter. Just note. Opening up the lid and making it flow better, might cause low RPM stutter. Its nothing serious. It only happens at very small throttle openings. Once you open the throttle up, there is no problems. You can live with it if you don’t want to spend money.

If you need the best possible setup, throw away the airbox and rubber intakes before the carbs and get yourself a L&A adaptor and a new big aircleaner. Its about the same price as a pro-flow setup.
