yo guys iom getting an 01 rappy, he said it was rolled, but everythings ok, i neeeeeed to know what to look for so i dont get rapped here, can someone tell me how to tell if the trans is bad too, plllease help ahh u rappy ginueses, im becoming part of the family

 

2nd gear is where the tranny goes out...if it shifts cleanly in and out of 2nd and while your riding it it doesn't slip in and out of the gear (mostly while under load). Since it was rolled check out the tie rods along with the a arms and handle bars. Listen to how it starts, the one ways tend to go out. Look for rust and ask for maintience records, if he doesn't have them ask him how me maintained it.

Does it have any mods?

 

Avoid the 01's. Everyone I know thats owned one has had to replace the gears.
