Hm, I have an 03 Warrior with an FMF Titanium 4 muffler. It is way loud. However, the performance I get out of it is huge. They do sell a quiet core insert which cuts the sound down to a level that won't make your ears ring after a couple hours. I also have a K&N filter, but I think the performance out of an air filter is minimal unless you are jetted etc... I only have the pipe and the filter and together they make a noticeable increase in power throughout the powerband. Oh, and with that quiet core insert, the performance increase is cut in half once you add that thing to the pipe....

I have two Warriors. One has the DG and the other has Whites Bros. Both have K&N filters and the air box lid has air holes in them. Both run about the same, they both have a good sound to them.

im gonna have to suggest the alba pipe kit.

i got mine for a tad under 300 and i haven't found one bad thing about it. it can be very very quiet (quieter than stock) or it can be abnoxiously loud, its your choice.,

Gotta agree with the Alba. For price only that is the best deal out their. FMF makes a great pipe but you will pay for it. Both my friends have Warriors as well as me,one has an FMF and the other has a White Brothers. FMF seems to perform better than White in midrange but Alba with K+N and new jets will take them both at 100 yards.

Only problem he's gonna have with putting a pipe on his warrior is that he's in Newfoundland. ATV parts are way expensive up here Bro!!

Welcome to the forums. I have the FMF Powercore IV on mine and it's not too loud unless you're on the throttle. The bike seems to be really peppy, but I have no way to tell since the bike came with the pipe on it already.

Whereabouts do you ride? I'm in CBS myself (foxtrap). A friend of mine just bought a 2001 Warrior too, it has a DG pipe on it, and it's LOUD.

Congrats on the purchase BTW ...
