I have the chance to get a 2001 yamaha raptor and there is nothing wrong with it. just normal riding scratches and scuffs. The guy that i would get it from is going to get a factory graphics kit put on for me and a tune up before he would sell it to me. He has some mods done to it like a white bros e series exhaust, k&n filter, renthal handlebars, the carb is jetted, rear realtor tires and front itp holeshots a new front grab bar and shock covers and a hevy duty chain and a helmet...etc He is going to sell it to me for $3500. What are the problems with the 2001 raptors and is it a good machine? and also how would i make the white bros e series become quieter is there a silencer for it? i want to know because our trails are around a bunch of old crabby people and we always get yelled at and the cops called.
I also know the guy and he said that if anything would go wrong with it he would do the best he could to help.

 

well you might get lucky and not have any problems with it but i wouldnt want to take the chance with the tranny and the one way but thats just mho

 

wouldnt the tranny have already gone out if there was a problem with it and what happens that the tranny does go out on the 01 raptors what is wrong with them

 

no my buddys just barely went out after three years of riding and its around 800 bucks or so to fix
