Default Grizzly hitch a JOKE!

I was wondering if anyone has a cure for the waste of a hitch that comes on the Grizzly?Something you can use like you mean it without it breaking? Not the add on ones you can get at most ATV stores either!

Default Grizzly hitch a JOKE!

I broke mine twice and ended up slightly enlarging the holes for the bolts that hold the hitch tongue on the frame and used larger #8 (hardness) bolts / nuts. Then I made my own hitch tongue by cutting a section out of a truck hitch (that fits in a 2” receiver). This gave me a plate of steel about ½” thick by about 3” (maybe a little less) wide by about 5” long to work with. After drilling this steel plate was bolted onto the frame as my new hitch tongue. To that I bolted on a “3-way hitch” from Cabelas (they have a web site). This Cabelas hitch has a loop for hooking up a chain, and has a hole to accept a trailer ball, and another hole at the very end similar in size to what the standard Grizzly tongue had on it. I bolted on the little swivel hitch that came with my Swisher Mower onto the last hole in the 3 way hitch…
