After a good hard clean in the carb i saw that my needle jet is just like falling out of my 02 wolverine.. i thought that was how it was so i just put it back in and started her up. It seems like the idle is all the way up when its almsot all the way out. and if i try to rev it it will rev for a really long time. What should i do. If its real complicated i will sedn her to a local shop and get them to fix it. Did you take the slide apart? If you did, you might have put the little plastic piece in there upside down, causing the needle to have play in it.

 

But could my needle be the problem? Im not sure i think im goignt o send her off

i think that would cause it to get way to much fuel flow so that could be a reason but just buy a new jet needle and install it yourself, aint that hard

 

This is a classic symptom of a vacuum leak. Check your carb boots too make sure the carb is properly installed and secure with no possible leaks. Check over everything in the intake tract.
