Tors is a throttle override system, what it does is, on yamahas, if your throttle gets stuck (what are the odds of that if you keep it maintained well), then this device in your thumbthrottle assembly gets pushed back onto a magnetic wire that tells the tors to shut off the quad. to get a better feel of how this works, take off the top of your thumb throttle (loosen the 3 screws on top of it) and look down inside above your throttle cable, youll know exactly what im talking about.

The idle adjustment screw is on the bottom of the carbs. Also about those tors systems, they go out in Banshees and cause them to rev up randomly really badly and blow engines. If your shee starts doing this then shut it off asap and unplug a devide, I forget which one...anyone know?

The idle adjustment screws are on the TORS...not the carb body. (this is for a stock banshee)

If you remove your tors units...You need to get a kit that puts the screws on the carb body. This involves drilling and tapping the carbs.
