Default '03 blaster TORS removal-changed from 88-02 ??

It looks like the small TORS brain box that was previously mounted in the front of earlier blasters is not there. It may be tied in with the CDI box ???? Has anyone tried this ???? I am putting extensive mods on the kids blaster and want to get rid of the 26 mikuni, also the 6800 rev limeter assosiated with the TORS.
It was very easy on earlier models....maybe I need to look a little harder ??

I never thought the TORS had a Rev limiter installed in it.

You could just as easily disconnect the switch on the handle bar and also on the carb. I do not think the box will do anyting then. I would trace the wires (test with a multi-meter) and determan where to go from there.

Thanks for the help... we figured this out. You have to jumper or splice together the wires from the thumb throttle to the cdi box('03s combined the cdi and tors electronics).
88-02 tors systems- you need to unplug the smaller electronic tors control box to eliminate a 6800rpm limit(the box will cut every 5th spark to the engine above 6800)

I purchased a TORS Kit for my wife Blaster from Vito's, I installed the kit and have a problem with the switch in the throttle housing cutting the motot off. I unplugged the connector that connected to the stock TORS and also unplugged the connector up front from the throttle, and the Blaster will not start. If I plug in the connector up front with the switch removed form the housing it runs. I would like to know how I can remove the wires so it can run without the switch. I was just going to remove the switch from the throttle housing and just zip tie it to the frame? I would appreciate it if you could help me out, thanks.

I don't think that the tors system limits the rpm's to 6800. My blaster will absolutly scream in neutral.
