Hey texaswarrior. I usually ride around my house.. there are a few trails on the right of way. When we get weekends off, we go up to Wolf Pen Gap up in mena ark. There is a place in longview tx. called fun wheeler park.. if you go over to the honda forum and see a guy named gregsims talkin bout mudding, that's where he goes. I haven't ever been down, but there is a race track, barrel racing arena, sand drag, and mud holes. Hondatrx300ex has rode down in Gilmer Tx. and he said that the trails are pretty good. I don't know of any really good trails aorund here, but there's a track in weatherford and greenvile.. just depends on your style of riding.. also there are trails up in Y city in ark. bout 20 miles from mena. I haven't ever ridden on the red river, but I really want to. Is it 4x4 or sporty riding? I know we went over it yesterday going to beavers bend and it was full, only a little sand island in the middle. Maybe we can hook up one weekend and ride. later,

thanks for the info. We've been to RR a bunch. Right now the river is high so there's not much on the river bank itself. Being July it'll go down. But the rest of the park trails is really a pretty good mix and is a huge place. Some jumps, a lot of sandy channels off the river, a really long x-country track that gets kinda narrow in place(bikes race mainly) and all sort climbs for almost every level. Im going to try and hook up with greg pretty soon and fun wheeler but all i have is 2x4 so I'll bring a rope. Shiloh Ridge is proably the best groomed place I've ever been to. I think it's pretty small compared to RR. RR goes on forever and just when you think you've covered it you'll find something else. It's a must-ride I'd say.
