I have 01 Wolverine and trying choose an Un-locker. I wanted to go with highlifter ,because they are the original ,but its cost more compared to the Warn 424. They do the same ,the only difference is price. I need some help in choosing. Anybody have this tell me whats best

Consensus is that the Warn is a little better unit.

 

I have the HL unlocker and have had alot of problems with the shift block slipping off the shift ring when running hard in 4x4. I made a larger block to more incompass the ring but it will still slip off now and again. I would go with the warn unit.

 

Will the warn unit withstand hard jumping. I heard of a strap that is weak, my wolverine is going to be used for racing,jumping and freestyle. Any info before I buy the 424. Whats a great place to buy one, I searched ebay and found one for $225 shipped. Is it a good price?

 

I don't know but I think the first 424's came with a weaker strap. Mine came with one that looks like a piece of conveyor belt. Do alot of jumping and hard riding - no prblems with it- hope this helps.
