Default Serious Carb Issues....

What do you guys think would fit a Signiture 686 in the carb department....

I know a lot about the FCR's, and how they perform. But what about the single carb Edelbrock system? Would that run and help feed a hot 686? I keep my eye's open for FCR's, but they are hard to come by. A couple month's ago there was plenty of them on ebay, but now none to be found.

So I was looking at other options...I will have my stockers slightly modified on the assembly, and I'm sure I can get them running right for the set up. But when I raise compression I know it's going to be better to have a stronger carb.

So what are you opinion's on the single carb? Good or bad.....not enough for a 686....all opinion's appreciated. I'm nearing the resurrection of the Raptor, and this summer I'm going to try and install some aftermarket carb's, and I would like to get some details and opinion's on the main carb choices.....
