I own a 200 Warrior and i was wondering if it would be bad to reverse the front wheels?? I figure it would have a wider stance in the front.
It seems like it might be bad though because of the offset of the wheel??? Any suggestions?

Two of us flipped the fronts on our 400EX's which gives a 2+4 with no problems. Another friend of mine flipped the fronts on his Blaster. Dirtwheels magazine won their class in the Baja 1000 with 2+3 offsets, which is the same thing.

Well i tried to reverse them, they fit, but the valve stem would hit the brakes if i rode it so i answered my question.

Next, i reversed my rear wheels without a problem. It has a wider stance and i like it!! I was wondering if its bad for the wheels, axle, or bearings???? Thanx

Don't give up so easily. Mr. Gasket makes flush-mount valve stems. They come with a screw-in insert you use to add air and check pressure. Remove the insert and replace with a flush-mount cap. The whole thing is then about a 1/4 inch tall. Pop one side off the bead, rip out the old valve stem and install the new one. Jeg's has the valves for $16 for four valves and one adapter. Still way cheaper than $699 for A-arms.

if you want to wheels to be offset..

you can take out the valve stem on one side, put the stem back in upside down, and put some silcone in the hole.

Then go on the other side, drill a hole and install the valve in the right way. That way you have your stems on the outside.!

Do you know a website where i can purchase these valve stems?? Is it bad for the wheels when jumping and putting strain on them?? Anybody done the rear wheels like that?? i did it and it worked but i put them back the right way because i didnt want to mess anything up.

Thanks

I think 94DGblaster probably has the best solution. Flipping the rims may make your spindle and hub slightly more prone to being bent, but these parts are designed for quite a bit of abuse. The only way you're going to bend them is to hit something that would have bent them anyway.
