yfz450 gearing
I have a slightly modded yfz450, nothing extreme just exhaust, intake, jets, and exhaust cam retarded 1 tooth. I am soon to buy a new cdi and planning on regearing the bike. Anyhow, I think I will stick with stock front sprocket and go down 2 teeth on the rear sprocket. Any disputes to that, it seems I always start in second anyways and I would like a little more top end to beat raptors.
I also plan on replacing the clutch with a gytr inner hub, clutch basket, and plates so I should have no problem with more strain on the clutch then after the gearing change.
Thanks
