Are Cobra pipes cheap because they don't work, or is it because they don't advertise? Anyone tried one on a Wolverine or Warrior?

 

I have an 88 Warrior that is stock except for the Cobra exhaust. It runs great but I can't tell if there was any improvement over the stock pipe. My only reason for choosing this one was price, It was about half the price as the stock one from Yamaha. It is a little louder than the stock.

 

I have one on my Honda TRX 200 and it made a nice improvment in power. They have been around along time and are pretty good. But they just don't advertise much. Good luck.

 

I had an 93 warrior a few years back and most of the guys that I rode with had warriors. Of all these quads, there was an supertrapp, DG, cobra steel, cobra aluminum, and one other that I forgot the name of. We would trade pipes and tires just to see if there was much difference. We came to the conclusion that there was no noticable difference between these pipes except in sound. And all seemed to be better than stock. I myself can't see spending $200+ for some of the big name pipes when an cobra pipe will do the same thing for alot less.

i had a cobra on my 300ex damn thing was louder than a harley but the performance was awsome
