Building my Banshee
I want to build up my Banshee. I want some port work. Trinity? Or Patriot?
Pipes? Toomey TR6, or Trinity Stage IV?
Head? Noss or Trinity Stage IV?
Carbs? 33 or 35mm?
That's about it. Will I need to upgrade my clutch?
I'm not a racer, just love to play around, Dunes, Trails, informal Drags with Raptors, this one guy beat me because he had a pipe, and it pissed me off.
I'm running Castor 927 at 32:1. The only mods I have now is that billet airbox adapter that lets me run a better filter.
On Port work, Would you recommend anyone besides Trinity or Patriot?
Thanks guys.

If you want the best of the best port job talk to Jim at Passion Racing. I have heard nothing but good things about their 12 port porting. I am not too fimiliar with Trinity pipes, but I know if you are building an engine, T-5's are better than the TR-6's. For simple bolt on stuff TR-6's are better. I would go with Noss if I were you, just because Dave at Noss will anwser any and all of your questions, and they have awesome customer service compared to trinity. The size of the carbs really all depends on how much of a motor your really going to have. I would say unless you get a stroker or go with a big bore kit the 33's would be better. And yes you will need to upgrade clutch.

The T-5's are a better pipe for built engines than the TR-6's because T-5's respond better to any mod you do(you will see more power out of the T-5's when paired with a port job than the TR-6's with the same port job). I woud be looking at in-frame drag pipes like CPI or Shearer over T-5's though, at least that is what I have heard jim recommend to people over on bansheehq forums.
