by buddy just bought a 450r and is talken all kinds of crap on my shee.....he wants to line them up, i was wondering if anyone has any predictions of how it will trun out . we will be racing on a dirt road or in a feild.....my mods are listen below, he is stock now, but soon will have a pipe (spoiled kid lol) so if anyone has any idea how it will turn out i would like to know?

I think the he has the advantage on the dirt road because of the shee's "all or nothing" type of power. When I race my buddies shee I can take him, when we get on grass or he gets traction then he just takes off and kicks all kinds of junk at me.

 

I believe you will take him if you are an experienced rider. The YFZ's are faster than the 450r's stock for stock.

 

with ur mods you should take him fairly easily...

 

so these things are that quick.......i mena my dad has a rap with a pip and i have learned over time how to get a good start, and can completely kill him, but these new 450's i'm scared lol, i have never lined up wiith one, and the way he is talken its so fast?? i'm gonna be pretty mad after all the work and tuning i've done to get kileld by a stock quad lol, but hey if it happens, i guess thats just another reason to get her ported and polished lol...

i think he will beat you for the first 5 gears... eventually your shee will catch up... but other than that i think your done... a buddy of mine has similar mods... SST's, vforce 2's and cool head... and he looses to the 450's until top end.
traction is the biggest factor.

 

Just race him. You'll win unless it's a 100ft race you might spin a little. Even if hes piped you should win. You have Hp in the 50's and hes like 35-40. If you spin a little you should pass by the end of third. There not much faster then a stock rap and youll kill those.
