Well I can say this, I absolutely love my YFZ! It has awesome power and the suspension is amazing. I have not rode a 450R yet however. I've heard they have more torque due to the longer stroke but only at low rpm. Without riding the Honda and from what I have heard and read, the Yamaha is a faster more agile machine. I would go with the YFZ.

Are you wanting it to race or trail ride or what?

I have the YFZ and rode the HONDA. It doesnt feel as nice. Feels cheap. The front end is lighter. When i gave it hell, it really didnt impress me at all. I love the sound of the YFZ (especially after removing the spark arrestor). Go with the YFZ!
