do you use the clutch when you shift?

 

This same thing happened to my blaster. I was in third and all of the sudden it stopped like it was in neutral, reved really high, and then popped back into gear. part of the cause of this problem was that i used synthetic motor oil instead of transmition oil for my tranny so it made my clutch slip. Now when I am in a higher gear like 4th and i am stopped and try to shift back into first, it wont go down so i have to kind of roll forward while I shift down. I would try changing your transmition oil and using a high quality gear lube from golden spectro before you go out and buy a new clutch.
