Default help - Limiter is cutting in on Rev too soon

The limiter is cutting in way too soon. Is there a sensor that maybe broke or not plugged in? I can not back the quad out of the trailer it is cutting in. I have removed the sensor on the clutch when the parking brake was removed any help would be great.

Thanks

thats not ur rev limiter its that sensor....you need that, sometimes it can even be alittle stuck and you have to jiggle the sensor or hold it back.

I would rather fix the senor than just find a may to get around the problem. Any idea wherer the senor is located at ??

Thanks

Is it only doing it in reverse?

Only in rev. I removed the parking brake sensor but it had problems before the parking brake. I just thought that it was me but I rode another and there is something screwed up on mine. Thanks again everyone for the input.

Go to http://www.raptortranny.com and look at his mod on the rev limiter it works slick and it's cheap

Some of them seem to have a lower RPM that they kick in at. Like I said before I would eliminate the limiter for reverse with the Ripper unit.
