YFZ450 Good for the trails?
I have had my yfz since October and had a 400EX before that right now i feel i could ride the 400ex faster in harescrambles the yfz is really high strung and you need to work the clutch alot more and use the gas it just takes getting used to.( i kill the bike alot in the tight stuff when it gets technical but getting better).
Overall i really have no complaints on the yfz in the trails after a couple rides you'll fly i know one thing trees come at ya alot faster on the yfz!!!!

i use my yfz all around, Trails, mx track, flats... I don't notice much of a pain with the seat, then again, I'm rarely sitting on it. I've never come across a trail that was "Too" tight for it. (yes I've had to slow down to fit between some trees... but who doesn't?) It climbs the hills, corners nice (even if you have to gas it to get the a$$ end to slide around.)
Over all, it works as a trail bike, and has a palethera of other uses, that I'm sure you'll exploit. (the stock rappy was just as bumpy on the lil bumps as my yfz, and I didn't like how heavy it was in comparison.)
