WOW!!! No way, mine will be pushing close to 42hp, all those extra cc's and only .5hp!!!
Come on guys, we were just kidding about the 41-42hp readings. If you put a pipe filter and jet kit on you should be in the 40's. We were just pulling your leg.

I hook it up to find that I have like 2 volts on my battery. I guess six weeks in the garage will drain the battery.
That is odd, was the battery hooked up to any wires? I just put another engine in my 02 the other day just to test it out and the battery turned fine for 45 min cuz I was trying to prime the oil pump. I have had it disconnected since MLK weekend when my motor blew.

The ball park figure on just the motor work is around $2000-23000. But that is replacing the rod, getting the crank balenced and all that good stuff. Plus the port work, bore/hone, ect...ect.....

Add the carb's(which I got for cheap), which are upwards over $800.

Then just anything else that you want to get and you have a 686. With all the GYT-R Stuff, Alba Stuff, Craycraft Motor Work, paying my mechanic, FCR's, Tires/Wheels, I probaly put $3400 in the Raptor in 6 weeks. But when you see the pic's you'll know. Just to let you know, I have about the same build as you and was pushin just below 60 HP on the dyno. The dyno I was on was used for jetting purposes though so it's not the most accurate HP reading but prolly pretty close! But congrats on the bike man! I know you've been waitin very patiently and for a while! Don't kill yerself on er!
