Default Buy a new banshee need advice!

I was wondering what a good out the door cash price would be on a banshee? Im hoping i can get it for around 5500 or so but i dont know if thats gunna happen. I pretty much have my mind made up on a banshee. I rode one of my friends polaris predator's and that thing was damn fast and he thinks i should get a 4-stroke btut from what ive heard i think ill like a 2-stroke more. Im 5'11" 160 lbs. I think part of the reason he thinks i should get a predator or bigger 4-stroke is because hes a bigger guy and they fit him better. I think with me being smaller a banshee or smaller lighter bike would be fine. Im going to do mostly drag and trail but i plan on going to the dunes a few times a year. Any advice would be helpfull.

Want a Banshee?....................

Find a used one in good shape. The cash you save can be spent on parts to hop it up.

I think that $5500 otd is a good price. I think the msrp is like $6100-6300, same as raptor. shee, rappy, preddy, I think that you'd be happy with either one.

that is an excellent price if you can get it out the door for that but if not sometimes they can discount parts and gear to make you feel you are still geting the same price which works for me too and I also like you prefer to buy new and avoid the head aches if my pocket lets me at the time. You will really enjoy the Banshee with the type of riding you like to do.

Don't buy a banshee off e-bay, I did and here's what I got. I was the hi bidder on a 99 banshee that the seller said was in mint condition, I paid 3000. What I got was a very used banshee with a bent frame, bent handle bars, bad chain and sprokets, bad front shocks, bad front bushings, and a bad clutch. I will open up a can of whip *** on this guy if I ever run into him.
