What effect do smaller tires have on your 4 wheeler?

smaller tires will spin faster which will give you more snap in the bottom end but will also decrease your top end speed.

smaller tire = more bottom end
bigger sprocket = more bottom end

doing this would help your bottom end alot and you would be able to wheelie and climb hills better but you will probably loose 5mph on the top end by doing both

The best thing you can do is change your gearing. When you look at it and you see I will loose 5 mph at top end, how fast or could you even hit your top end in the highest gear. So the loss of 5 mph top end or more is nothing. I have played with my gearing allot and can tell you I race allot of people that have higher gearing (so they can say there quad goes 10 or 15 mph faster than mine), but I beat them in drags and hill climbing. It's all about getting to that top end as fast as you can. JMO

I dont have enough top end...I ride it at max and want to go faster, obviously not on trails or sand, but I mean getting there for example I drive there by road.It dribbles left and right at top speed though(no steering damper).
