what's wrong with DG?
#1
U guy's might have saw my post "project cheap blaster" in the performance mods topic.I am looking at the LRD adjustable pipe/silencer/jet kit combo.or the pro circuit pipe and silencer.I was just wondering why DG's pipe and silencer combo is so cheap???does any one have one of these pipes??I had a Dg pipe and silencer on my old 98 blaster. It was fast but it was also ported and had a rad valve and K&N filter.Mine was not chrome though.

No, DG is short for "DON'T GET"....Tried a DG Pipe/Silencer and Air Box Mods once on my 400EX and after hours of rejetting it was still slower then stock ; ) So I put the stocker back on, jetted for the airbox mods and sent back the pipe.
On another note...As if that wasn't enough when I purchased my banshee I ordered the DG skids, A-Arm plates, etc...for it and they didn't fit for reasons such as bolt holes in the wrong place, and some holes were not even tapped to accept the bolts! Just my opinion but I would stay away from DG products...Have some PRM skids on order now we'll see how those work ; )

My DG durablue airflters on my Banshee lasted two rides before the seems split (bad glue I guess). I called customer service about this and the guy was a d**k! The last thing I said to him was, "well I just wanted to know if you stand behind your products." He told me, "no we do not." Couldn't believe my ears!
Performance and price mean nothing to me if the company wont back the product...THAT's what's wrong with DG.
