Bought two new Kodiaks a month ago and still waiting for speedometers, anyone know what the deal is? Two differend dealers say they're on backorder and because of a part their waiting for to be manufactured ?????? their not shipping them?? Also, I've tried to adjust the back break to keep it from squeeking but still still not having much luck, pull the break lever and it quits for a bit. Might just have to wait until the break pads wear down a little??? Any suggestions? Thanks, LM

Have you ridden in any mud? My back brake pads on mine only lasted 2 months and they where metal to metal. The dealer went good on them but he said you have to get the mud out everytime. They where cleaned evrytime now and seem to be doing a little better. You can still hear grinding everytime you go in a mud pit though.

You wont have to wait long for your pads to wear down a bit, they only last about two months anyway.

Had same problem with squeaking brakes on my kodiak. Had best luck with blowing off pads and disks to remove fine dust and dirt.
